DOUBLE BILL POSTERS YEAR I
Alternative film poster project, 2018—19
Weekly type & form experiments in the shape of film posters, in collaboration with Mathieu Vancamp. We watch at least one film every week, and pick one that we each design an individual poster for with these restrictions: we can spend only one hour on concept and execution, use only type and/or illustration and no more than three colours.
We are Sarah & Mathieu. Sarah has been a graphic designer since 2011 and specialises in book design and editing. Mathieu is taking evening classes in graphic design and has been obsessed by movies and posters for many years. For us both, this project is a great exercise in quick thinking and doing, and allows us to combine our mutual interests away from clients and school assignments.
